Terms of Use

Effective August 5, 2026 · Between you and Rudd Media LLC ("Roam", "we", "us")

By using Roam you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. Who can use Roam

You must be at least 17 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. By using Roam you confirm both.

2. What Roam is — and isn't

Roam builds suggested itineraries of real venues using AI, and lets users optionally publish plans so other users can ask to join them. Roam is a planning and discovery tool. We are not a party to any meetup, we don't vet users beyond the features described in the app, and we don't operate, endorse, or guarantee any venue.

Venue information is best-effort. Itineraries are generated by AI and checked against third-party data (existence, location, opening hours, weather), but places close, change hours, and fill up. Confirm anything that matters before you go. We're not liable for a closed door, a changed menu, or a rained-out patio.

3. Meeting other users

Meeting people from the internet carries real risk, and you accept that risk. Linked Instagram profiles are typed by users and are not identity verification. Use your judgment: meet in public places, tell someone where you're going, and leave if something feels off. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline.

Report and block tools are built into every chat, plan, and join request. We review reports and may remove content or accounts at our sole discretion.

4. Your account

Sign-in is via Apple or Google. You're responsible for activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time in Settings; we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your content

You own what you create (plans, guides, messages). You give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display it as needed to run the service — e.g., showing your published guide to other users.
Only link an Instagram handle that is yours. Impersonation is grounds for immediate termination.
No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors, spam, scams, or illegal activity. No using Roam to plan unlawful conduct.
We may remove any content that violates these rules or the law.

6. Acceptable use

Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the service; don't access it by any means other than the app and this website; don't circumvent rate limits or safety features.

7. Fees

Roam is currently free. We may introduce paid features later; if we do, pricing will be shown in the app before you pay anything, and purchases will be handled by Apple.

8. Disclaimers

Roam is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rudd Media LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Roam — including anything that happens at a venue or between users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of Roam, or your violation of these terms.

11. Apple

These terms are between you and Rudd Media LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Roam and is not responsible for any product claims, IP claims, or legal compliance relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Polk County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Using Roam after a change means you accept it.
